I’ve been a stage and film actress for 28 years. Even before I participated in my first official theater production I was putting on shows in my living room. I call myself a wild boar because everyone else in this business strives to be known as sharks.
Wild boars are far more aggressive than the fiercest sharks. In fact, they are the most aggressive animals in the world.
I love telling stories, becoming new characters, dissecting scripts, and entertaining people. In addition to double majoring in acting and directing, I have a degree in Psychology and worked for years in the field. The experiences I gained and people I met as a psychologist have improved my ability to create characters with layers and depth – even though I frequently play the “bad seed.”
I’m known for playing women who are a force to be reckoned with. Driven, passionate, boisterous, mean, cynical, bossy, self assured and reckless. The drug addict, other woman, black sheep, tattoo artist or criminal. I also have a softer, calmer side/look and love playing the mom, the professional, kind, caring, nurturing, reliable, relaxed farmer or hippie.
I was born and bred in New England from centuries old New England stock… So… I’m a wicked fire cracker! I’m fun, friendly and easy to work with. I’m super organized, always prepared, and I know how to take direction.
I have tons of improv, stage and set experience. I train at The Actor’s Green Room, One on One and the Actor’s Connection, all in New York City. I also coach privately and in classes.
